Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
- VS Code Version:
- OS Version:
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open VS Code OSS or VSCodium.
- Search for "GitHub Copilot Chat" in the Extensions Marketplace (Open VSX).
- Notice that the extension is missing.
Expected Behavior
The Copilot Chat extension (or an updated listing) should still be available on Open VSX, or there should be clear communication about the new location/repository and whether it will be republished.
Actual Behavior
The Copilot Chat extension has been removed from Open VSX, and the related GitHub repository has changed its name.
The new repository is now:
This causes confusion for users of open-source VS Code distributions (like VSCodium) because the extension cannot be found or updated through Open VSX.
Additional Information
It would be helpful to clarify whether this extension will be republished on Open VSX, or if its availability there has been intentionally discontinued.
