Unclear how to get chat title back once gone

2. Right click and hide chat title
3. 🐛 Right click same area, click gear, click .... Be sad because you don't find chat title anywhere

It's a bit weird / unintuitive but you're right clicking in the wrong spot. The title bar is part of the view pane itself (not the activity bar)*, so to get it back you have to go back to the empty state view, right click anywhere within the pane, and you'll see the correct context menu again.

*When the activity bar is in the default position.

That said, there might actually be a good argument for adding this config to the activity bar context menu Benjamin Pasero (@bpasero). There's a related bug where this context menu is "not working" when the activity bar is in positions top, bottom, and hidden, since the "title bar" and activity bar are one in the same in those scenarios.

Oh yeah touche, I guess even more reason to move this setting to the activity bar context menu imo

Hawk Ticehurst (@hawkticehurst) I am happy for you to work on this, does not seem critical for November. I am not sure where to surface this option though, I have a feeling it could appear if you right click into the chat because it relates to chat.
