Only Claude Haiku model available

Logged in to github in vscode with a pro subscription. Have the github copilot and chat extensions installed and enabled. Only seeing Claude Haiku 4.5 model in chat. When using chat, it kept giving an error:

Interesting seeing this error:

I've signed out and on re-authing, after entering the verification code, it tried to re-open VSCode in the browser on 127.0.0.1 with this message:

Nothing happened, and clicking on the link did nothing. So I guess even though it looks like im logged in in VSCode, my auth failed.

Could this be due to installing opencode recently?

Btw I just confirmed my opencode is still working using github copilot auth, and all models are available. VSCode still same error and no models. Clarification: it was showing only Haiku 2 days ago, today no models (only Auto) are available in the chat dropdown.

It's only in copilot chat. When using the Claude add on I can use any model I want

I fixed the same error just by downgrading the Copilot chat ;). For me, I used 0.41.0.
