Claude Opus 4.6 constantly hangs and incomplete responses

I selected agent mode, and it got stuck thinking for like 20 minutes just to show an error at the end that it got 'out of memory.' I switched back to Ask mode, but it is still stuck in agent mode, it is not recognizing the switch to ask mode. Also, every time it finishes providing code, it's automatically deleting it. It simply disappears from the chat. This started after wednesday's update of VS.

Hi Rob, Thanks your prompt response. I'm attaching some screenshots so you can see what I mean regarding the code content incomplete/disappearing from the chat once the agent is done responding.

First image shows only 2 complete responses from 5 responses, the other 3 remained incomplete.

2nd image shows 4 incomplete responses. It has been like this since this Wednesday's update.

I'm not seeing "out of memory"

Great! Thanks! And, no, I am not seeing the issue 'out of memory' in askMode. I only saw the issue in agentMode, but I haven't used it again because it was getting stuck.

The one error I am seeing now at the end of every chat is the one in the screenshot, which says: 'mgt.clearMarks is not a function'.
