Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes (Only Claude enabled)
- VS Code Version: 1.117.0
- OS Version: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open VS Code with the Claude Code/Dev extension installed and the sidebar active.
- Open any file in the editor.
- Run the command 'View: Toggle Maximize Editor Group'
Actual Result:
The editor group expands, but a portion of the Claude sidebar/panel remains visible on the right side, overlapping or taking up space instead of being completely hidden.
Expected Result:
The editor group should occupy the full width of the window, completely hiding all sidebars and activity bars as per the "Maximize" command definition.
