Type: Bug
I created a workspace-level keybinding file at keybindings.json and added bindings for tasks such as:
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P → workbench.action.tasks.runTask with task label “Run Python Script”
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+G → workbench.action.tasks.runTask with task label “Auto Stage + Commit + Push”
The bindings are valid JSON and the workspace file is present.
However, when the bindings are placed in keybindings.json, VS Code reports “No keybinding entries.”
When the same entries are copied into the user-level
C:\Users<user>\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\keybindings.json, they work.
This indicates that workspace-level keybindings are not being loaded/applied in the current VS Code window even though the workspace folder and keybinding file are present.
