!!!When running this program in Cubbli Linux, the virtual computer mode has to be on full screen AND when the UI window opens, that too might have to be put in full screen if the upper bar is not seen!!!.

If you get 'Database is locked' error then you have to move/unzip the program into the /tmp folder like this:

  • unzip ~/Downloads/ot-harjoitustyo-week5.zip -d /tmp

The program is run by:

  • poetry run invoke start

After the user has created an account and logged in, the user can add new zones to zoom in on by:

  • pressing the add zone button, a pop-up window appears and there the user can add new zones by adding the zone title, image filename and a description, for example like this: Title: Ruins, Image: Ruins.png, Description: An old fallen village.
  • In the assets folder is a placeholder image for every zone on the placeholder map (The Desert. The Gothic, The Beach, The Ruins) and the images filename are (Desert.png, Gothic.png, Beach.png, Ruins.png).
  • After the user has added one or several zones, the user can switch between zones by selecting a zone from the dropdown menu.
  • The user can also add/change the title and description in each zone by updating the text in the dashboard to the right and then pressing the save button in the left corner of the dashboard.
  • The Go back button returns to the parent map view
  • The exit map view return to the login page
