ArtCraft Agent Skills v1.0.2
All 13 skills re-authored against the October 2026 app releases (v0.7.0–v0.13.1) — the same versions the ArtCraft Launcher just installed on every machine.
Changed
- All 13 skills regenerated against their app's latest release tag: photocraft 0.10.0, lightcraft 0.9.1, vectorcraft 0.13.1, figcraft 0.7.0, designcraft 0.9.0, wordcraft 0.8.0, deckcraft 0.8.0, gridcraft 0.8.0, pdfcraft 0.9.0, effectcraft 0.11.1, filmcraft 0.9.0, soundcraft 0.8.0, cadcraft 0.8.0.
deckcraft/references/commands-and-formats.md— 320 commands (up from 233); the registry moved to per-familyspecs()functions; shortcuts, control methods, MCP tools and format tables re-verified.designcraft/references/agent-surfaces.md— 0.9.0 CLI/control/MCP surfaces (automation roots,ui.ime, updated export routing).pdfcraft/references/automation-tools.md— 170 tools (up from 163): accessibility autotagging, XFA-to-static, page transitions; nothing removed or renamed.- New
figcraft/references/automation-surfaces.md— the 561-command registry, actions, plugins, CLI/control/MCP detail. - New
filmcraft/references/—cli-and-protocol.mdandformats.mdfor the 0.9.0 tree.
Verification
Same bar as every release: structure checks in all 13 skills, every cited path resolves in the audited tree, every Sources SHA and version matches its release tag, installed bundle versions match the tags for all 13 apps, and headline claims (PSD read/write, XLSX function parity, PPTX round-trip, DXF/DWG, effect counts, MCP surfaces, command counts) spot-checked against code.
The zip has the 13 skill folders + AGENTS.md at its root — same install as before, see the README.
ArtCraft Agent Skills v1.0.1
Two new agent targets — Google Antigravity and Gemini CLI — plus a vectorcraft skill refreshed against VectorCraft 0.12.0. Requested in #1.
Added
- Google Antigravity:
install.sh --antigravity/install.ps1 -Antigravityinstall the 13 skills into Antigravity's global skills directory~/.gemini/config/skills/(%USERPROFILE%\.gemini\config\skillson Windows), discovered across the Antigravity app, IDE and CLI. For a single project, symlink into the repo's.agents/skills/(Antigravity scans it at workspace level). - Gemini CLI:
install.sh --gemini/install.ps1 -Geminiinstall into Gemini CLI's user-scoped~/.gemini/skills/. The suite's default~/.agents/skills/target was already scanned by Gemini CLI as an alias (preferred within its tier), so the default install also works — the new flag scopes the install to Gemini alone. - AGENTS.md "Windows: driving the GUI apps live": when an agent spawns the ArtCraft GUI apps from a non-interactive window station (
CREATE_NO_WINDOW), the egui/DirectX apps exit immediately with code 0 and no window. The note documents the interactive launch + control-channel attach pattern (cmd.exe /c start "" ... --control <port>, TCP127.0.0.1:<port>, one JSON line per request), the per-app auth differences (PhotoCraft caller-supplied token, WordCraftcontrol-key.local-<port>key file, PdfCraft--control FILE, the rest loopback-unauthenticated), and the UTF-8-without-BOM requirement — a BOM-prefixed first line is treated as malformed JSON and closes the connection.
Changed
vectorcraftskill regenerated against VectorCraft v0.12.0 (8bc6532), up from v0.11.0 (0a33cff) — 574 upstream commits touched every documented subsystem (engine, PDF/EPS/SVG I/O, render, effects, MCP). Newly documented: the Dimension tool, Object › Intertwine, the Actions panel withcommand.batch/action.batch, Variables with dataset CSV, Export for Screens presets, the legacy.aiversion 7 writer (marked unproven, per the project),.aitsave, EMF/WMF/PSB/Affinity import, 20 interface languages, and 32 MCP tools.
Install
See the README table — one command per agent. The release asset artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip has the 13 skill folders + AGENTS.md at its zip root:
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip -d ~/.agents/skills/ # Codex/ChatGPT/ZCode/Devin/CommandCode/Gemini CLI
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/ # Claude Code
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip -d ~/.config/opencode/skills/ # OpenCode
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip -d ~/.gemini/skills/ # Gemini CLI (scoped)
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.1.zip -d ~/.gemini/config/skills/ # Google AntigravityArtCraft Agent Skills v1.0.0
First stable release of the ArtCraft Agent Skills: thirteen evidence-verified SKILL.md skills for the ArtCraft desktop apps — the open-source, pure-Rust, clean-room creative suite (Photoshop-, Illustrator-, Premiere-, Lightroom-, Acrobat-, After Effects-, InDesign-, Figma-, Word-, Pro Tools-, PowerPoint-, AutoCAD- and Excel-style apps).
What's inside
Every skill teaches an AI coding agent what one app can really do, what it cannot do yet, and how to drive it correctly — through each app's first-class automation surface (headless CLI, MCP server, localhost JSON control channel) instead of blind GUI automation. Each skill directory contains SKILL.md, an evidence.md capability→evidence map, Codex/ChatGPT UI metadata (agents/openai.yaml), and deeper reference tables where useful.

Install
One command per agent (from a clone of this repo):
| Agent | Command |
|---|---|
| OpenAI Codex · ChatGPT desktop · ZCode · Devin · CommandCode | bash install.sh |
| CommandCode (native) | cmd skills add midasmatterhorn/artcraft-skills --global |
| Claude Code | bash install.sh --claude |
| OpenCode | bash install.sh --opencode |
| Windows (any of the above) | .\install.ps1 (-Claude, -OpenCode) |
One paste: let your coding agent do it
Copy this into your agent (Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, OpenCode, Devin, CommandCode, ZCode, or any coding agent):
Clone https://github.com/midasmatterhorn/artcraft-skills.git into a temporary directory, then install the skills for the agent I'm using now:
- Windows: run `.\install.ps1`; if you are Claude Code use `.\install.ps1 -Claude`, if you are OpenCode use `.\install.ps1 -OpenCode`, and add `-Force` to overwrite existing installs.
- OpenCode (macOS/Linux): run `bash install.sh --opencode`, which installs into ~/.config/opencode/skills/.
- Claude Code: run `bash install.sh --claude`, which installs into ~/.claude/skills/.
- Otherwise: run `bash install.sh` (default target ~/.agents/skills/, which OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT desktop, ZCode, Devin and CommandCode scan natively); add `--force` to overwrite existing installs.
Verify the install: all 13 skill directories must be present under the target directory, each containing SKILL.md and agents/openai.yaml. Print the target directory you used.
Then tell me to restart my agent session so the new skills are discovered.
Or with the release asset: download artcraft-skills-v1.0.0.zip and unzip it straight into your skills directory — the 13 skill folders sit at the zip root:
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.0.zip -d ~/.agents/skills/ # Codex/ZCode/Devin/CommandCode
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.0.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/ # Claude Code
unzip artcraft-skills-v1.0.0.zip -d ~/.config/opencode/skills/ # OpenCodeThen restart your agent session.
Quality bar
- Authored by one AI agent per app repo (DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, max reasoning effort, via OpenCode) against a pinned commit of each app's source; machine-audited: every cited file path resolves, every
Sources & evidenceSHA matches the audited tree, headline claims (PSD read/write, XLSX function parity, PPTX round-trip, DXF/DWG, effect counts, MCP surfaces) spot-checked in code. - Full pre-release audit passed: strict-YAML frontmatter on all 13 skills, installer functionally tested on all targets, no secrets or machine-specific data in history.
- Skills are plain Markdown per the agentskills.io standard — macOS-authored paths in the docs are conceptual for Windows/Linux users (see the README Platforms note).
