v0.4.0: npm distribution, streaming and conversation controls
Install from npm
OpenCode installs the prebuilt package from this entry in tui.json:
{
"$schema": "https://opencode.ai/tui.json",
"plugin": [
["opencode-reviewer@0.4.0", {
"baseURL": "https://api.example.com/v1",
"model": "your-model",
"apiKeyEnv": "OPENCODE_REVIEWER_API_KEY"
}]
]
}Replace an existing file-path entry instead of adding a second plugin. Preserve
your options, set the API-key environment variable, and restart OpenCode.
Changes
- Optional
stream: trueshows early ratings and progressive Markdown. The default
stays non-streaming. Loading and correction states show Evaluating and Retrying. - Auto-approval remains gated on complete validation and final visible rendering.
- Local
/reviewer-enableand/reviewer-disablecommands affect the root
conversation and descendants, with mode persisted for resume. - OpenRouter-reported costs are counted once per received attempt, including
unsuccessful/interrupted reviews. Generic endpoints retain catalog estimates.
Existing lifetime history is preserved; unreported charges remain unknown. - Includes the unpublished v0.3.0 checkpoint's MCP, custom-tool and directory
reviews, bounded filesystem evidence, and patch-operation summaries. - GitHub releases publish the verified package to npm as well as attaching the
archive. Stable versions uselatest; prereleases usenext. - Targets OpenCode 1.18.35, local Linux TUI. Endpoint/model remain configurable.
Migration
From v0.2.x, enable reviewExternalDirectories: true to retain shell-associated
directory reviews. MCP and custom reviews have independent opt-in switches.
Remove custom *-REVIEW-CORRECTION.md files; correction contracts are fixed.
Keep both usage-v1 and usage-v2 state directories to preserve recorded history.
The v0.3.0 tag remains an unpublished local checkpoint; its features are included
here without rewriting the tag or backdating a release.
Verification
- Typecheck and 483 unit tests passed.
- Five fixture-measurement tests and three publishing tests passed.
- Four cleanup tests and 21 focused real-TUI combinations passed during feature
verification. These use deterministic local endpoints, not live-model benchmarks. - Reproducible package contains exactly five intended files.
