Loadout is a Mac app that shows you every skill, command, subagent and MCP server your coding assistants have installed — and lets you turn each one on or off without editing a file.

Install: download Loadout-0.4.0.dmg, open it, drag Loadout to Applications. Signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without a trip through System Settings. Already have it? It will offer this update itself.

What's new

It runs on Intel Macs. Until now the release was built on an Apple silicon machine and simply would not open on an Intel one. This is one download that runs on both. (#10)

Sort and filter by any frontmatter key. Whatever a file happens to set — team, model, allowed-tools, a field your own assistant invented — shows up on its own in the filter and sort menus, and the key you pick becomes a column on every row. Nothing is hard-coded, so a Claude-only field does not turn up on a Codex skill. (#3, suggested by u/CacheInvalidation)

An On filter, beside the Off one. Every kind can now be narrowed to what is actually loaded right now, instead of only to what is not.

A plugin you turn off now turns off what it ships. Its skills, commands and subagents used to keep their rows lit and their switches on, so the list claimed your assistant was loading things it was not. They stay listed — that is where you put them back from — but they read as off.

Also fixed: two skills with the same name no longer leave a blank row in the list, and disabling a shared skill twice in quick succession no longer fails with "an item with the same name already exists".

Full list in the changelog.
