Beta update. If you have 0.3.0, the app updates itself; nothing to do.

What changed:

• Meet Clawd: a new unlockable pet based on the Claude Code mascot (5,000 lifetime words)
• Wardrobe fix: your equipped hat now always wins over seasonal hats (in July, sunglasses were overriding everything you equipped)
• Parakeet TDT v3 is the default engine and Parakeet options lead the model picker
• Settings reorganized: Keep the model warm, Super Fast Mode, and LLM cleanup live in a Performance section at the top
• The microphone picker in the brutalist skin is now actually brutalist
• New app icon: the pixel cat
• Redrawn unicorn sprite

First shared build. Everything runs on your Mac; your voice never leaves it.

Install: download the DMG below, drag YappYapp to Applications, then on first open: macOS 15 or newer needs System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway (the build is not notarized yet); macOS 14 uses right-click > Open. Full steps are in FIRST-OPEN.txt inside the DMG and in the README.

Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask matd97/tap/yappyapp (the first-open steps above still apply; to skip the prompt entirely run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/YappYapp.app after install)
