T-TUI 1.0.0-rc.2
T-TUI 1.0.0-rc.2 is a release candidate for Linux x64 and native Windows x64. Stable 1.0 acceptance is still in progress.
This candidate fixes the Windows checksum line endings that stopped rc.1 before publication. Pull-request CI now runs the same GNU checksum verification as the release job against both native archives.
The complete release workflow passed, including native terminal tests, packaging, security scans, build attestations, and installation from the actual public downloads on both operating systems. Source commit: cdfc8d9e5abb62f800315c0d7ccfe002bbb49926.
Download the matching archive and its SHA-256 file below. Standalone binaries require neither Node nor Rust:
- Windows:
ttui-1.0.0-rc.2-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip - Linux:
ttui-1.0.0-rc.2-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz(glibc; built and tested on Ubuntu 22.04)
Compare the SHA-256 before extraction, then run ttui --mock (./ttui.exe --mock in PowerShell) for the fictional offline demo. F1 opens help. On Windows, Enter inserts a newline and Ctrl-S sends.
The same tarball is published as @mikimatsub/ttui@1.0.0-rc.2, bundling both native binaries with no dependencies, install scripts or runtime binary download. With a Node runtime satisfying the package's engine requirement, use npm install --global @mikimatsub/ttui@next. Registry installations on native Windows and Ubuntu WSL matched all ten packaged files to the verified release tarball and passed offline command checks.
This remains a release candidate. npm also assigned it to latest, and authenticated tag-removal requests returned HTTP 400; that channel issue is unresolved. The initial npm publication used the authenticated maintainer session. GitHub build attestations are verified; trusted publishing is configured for future tags, but npm OIDC provenance has not yet been exercised.
Initial live read-only and session checks passed on Windows and Ubuntu 26.04 under WSL2, including inbox/history access, profiles, discovery, update synchronization, photo decoding, terminal navigation, restart and isolated sign-out. No real messages or swipes were sent. Full acceptance, including deliberate mutations and remaining session/history edge cases, is still pending. Auto-swipe and desktop notifications remain deferred. WinGet submission is reserved for a later stable release.
