OpenMausBot 0.1.119
This release keeps your bots signed in to websites, makes the live browser view fast and steady, and lets bots finish sign-ins and webhook setups on their own. Update to get it. There is nothing else to do.
New
- Bots stay signed in to websites. Each bot's browser now keeps its own profile, so sign-ins survive the browser closing, restarting or crashing, and the app restarting. That includes sites that keep your login in browser storage, such as Slack, Discord, WhatsApp and Telegram on the web, and many web apps. The Temporary browser and My Chrome work as before. (#3141)
- Bots can enter sign-in codes for you. When you ask a bot to sign in somewhere, or set up a routine that does, it can read the one-time code from your own connected email or messages and type it into that site. It never sends a code anywhere else, and it ignores instructions about codes that come from web pages or emails rather than from you. (#3157)
- Bots can connect webhooks themselves. A bot that owns a webhook automation can get its full address and paste it into the app that sends the events, for example a WhatsApp watcher, without you copying it over. Only that bot, or a Chief who can reach it, gets the address. Copy address now always returns the same address instead of making a new one. (#3158)
Fixes
- Send to My Cloud tells you what didn't go and why, with Try again, and now brings your chats along too. (#3161)
- Webhooks can post straight into a room, with a voice note or images, without starting a bot. Thanks to David McCarty for the original contribution. (#3160)
- The live browser view is much smoother over a remote connection. Typing and mouse moves travel together, and the picture no longer waits for each step: on a Cloud it updates about three times as often, and typing no longer lags behind. (#3145)
- No more "The browser could not confirm this input".
- When a site asks a question of its own ("Are you sure?", "Enter a value"), the live view now shows it with Accept and Dismiss, and your click goes through after you answer.
- If a page truly stops answering, the browser restarts by itself and keeps your sign-ins. (#3155)
Still on an older version?
OpenMausBot updates itself. If it doesn't, download the installer for your system below and install it over the old one. Your bots and chats are kept. MausBot Clouds move to this version on their own.
