The release candidate was created only after both project validation gates passed:

• Test MNCM Labs on Arch Linux

• dotfile CLI
• health checks
• installation profile planning
• Plan Mode package-state protection
• release readiness

Safety

Plan Mode remains the default.

Package installation requires explicit Apply Mode.

Direct root execution is rejected.

Apply Mode is restricted to supported Arch Linux environments.

Release Candidate Notice

This is a prerelease.

Automated CI provides meaningful Arch userspace testing, but it does not replace testing on a real Arch Linux workstation.

Before a stable v1.0.0 release, MNCM Labs still needs real-machine validation of areas including:

• full Apply Mode installation
• Hyprland startup
• Wayland sessions
• GPU and display configuration
• desktop configuration deployment
• audio
• suspend/resume
• laptop-specific hardware

Do not treat this release candidate as a proven production installer yet.
