• Preserve code-only retirement checkpoint (#930)

Local branches and dirty checkouts contain unfinished code that would be lost during retirement cleanup. This PR preserves their inspected code deltas as 11 inert binary Git patches, with base/head commits, source identifiers, SHA-256 hashes, and recovery instructions in the manifest. It does not integrate or claim completion of those features.

The archive excludes local planning material, contextual prose, settings, runtime state, and sensitive fixtures. The root naming exception is limited to this retirement checkpoint directory.

Validation: all 11 patch hashes and file counts matched the manifest; each patch passed git apply --cached --check against a fresh index at its recorded base; archive paths passed the exclusion audit; Gitleaks found no leaks; the full applicable Lefthook pre-commit suite passed. A sibling archive directory still fails root naming.

Automated build from commit 5ab1377 -- not a tagged release.
Download the .zip, unzip, and drag mill.app to Applications. The app is not Apple-notarized: first launch is blocked with "Apple could not verify…" -- click Done (not Move to Trash), then System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to the mill message → Open Anyway (one time only). Terminal alternative: /usr/bin/xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/mill.app.
Every later merge to main updates in-app via Settings → Updates → Update now -- no rebuild, no repeat of this step.
