Basic Tool offering:

  • welcome message to new clients,
  • reset function for companies,
  • change player name function,
  • forwarding messages to a Slack channel,
  • special handling of admin requests.
    The jar file does contain all dependencies inside.
    Usage:
    java -cp PATH_TO_JAR de..miltschek.openttdadmin.BasicTool OPENTTD_ADDRESS OPENTTD_PORT OPENTTD_ADMIN_PASSWORD SLACK_CHANNEL SLACK_TOKEN
    Where:
    OPENTTD_ADDRESS is usually the local machine, so 127.0.0.1 would be fine
    OPENTTD_PORT is per default 3977
    OPENTTD_ADMIN_PASSWORD is the password you have configured in the openttd.cfg file (under network, admin_password)
    SLACK_CHANNEL is the name or the ID of the channel on #Slack
    SLACK_TOKEN is the bearer value for OAuth2 authentication on #Slack
