Missing fallback when runner variable is undefined
Medium Severity
If vars.LINUX_RUNNER is not configured at the repository or organization level, the expression evaluates to an empty string, causing the workflow to fail because runs-on cannot be empty. This breaks CI for forks or any environment where the variable isn't set. Using a fallback like ${{ vars.LINUX_RUNNER || 'ubuntu-latest' }} would preserve the previous default behavior.
