v0.2.6
What's Changed
- Add the optional
vaultWorkspaceOnlysetting. When enabled, only agents whose session working directory is inside the configured Obsidian vault receive theobsidian_*tools. It defaults tofalse, preserving existing cross-workspace use. - Document configuration and scope in both READMEs. This setting controls Obsidian plugin tools; it does not restrict file access through other tools such as
bash.
Verified with 112 tests, typecheck, build, package dry run, and an outside-vault DSH session whose request contained no obsidian_* tools.
This is the GitHub source release. Version 0.2.6 has not yet been published to npm.
See the full changelog.

v0.2.4 — Windows compatibility
Highlights
This release hardens dsh-obsidian for Windows users and keeps the agent-facing vault API consistent across platforms.
- Standardized all tool-returned vault-relative paths to
/while accepting both/and\in inputs. - Hardened path containment checks against Unix absolute, Windows drive-letter, and UNC path escapes.
- Fixed Windows search result paths, CRLF line handling, Unicode case folding, and mixed-case Markdown extensions such as
.MD. - Fixed Windows backlink matching, snippets, move/delete results, and wikilink rewriting, including dot-segment paths.
- Added Windows
.exe/.cmdresolution for ripgrep and the Obsidian CLI, with safe fallback to the built-in filesystem/JS implementations. - Preferred platform-native Obsidian configuration locations with fallback to other known locations.
Validation
- 108 tests passed
- Typecheck passed
- Build passed
- GitHub Actions covers Ubuntu and Windows
