v0.2.0 — Standalone Rust binaries
Standalone binaries
The Rust gateway ships as a standalone executable with the dashboard and token vocabularies embedded. No Python, Node.js, or Rust installation is required.
| Platform | Download |
|---|---|
| Windows x64 | kirolb-windows-x64.exe |
| Windows ARM64 | kirolb-windows-arm64.exe |
| Linux x64 | kirolb-linux-x64.tar.gz |
| Linux ARM64 | kirolb-linux-arm64.tar.gz |
Linux builds use musl static linking. Windows builds use the static CRT. SHA-256 checksums are in SHA256SUMS.
Getting started
On Windows, download and run the matching .exe. On Linux:
tar -xzf kirolb-linux-x64.tar.gz
./kirolb-linux-x64Run from a writable directory. On first run, the gateway creates .env and .env.example with generated credentials and prints the credentials. Open http://localhost:8000 and add accounts through device login. Keep .env and the data/ directory private and persistent.
Build and verification
These are the unmodified binaries from the successful Build workflow for commit 86d3d8a. The workflow passed Rust formatting, clippy and tests, frontend lint/typecheck/tests, and all four release builds. Linux x64 was additionally smoke-tested for startup, /health, embedded dashboard HTML and /openapi.json. Windows and ARM64 were not runtime-tested for this release.
Known issues
Debug-capture fixes in #65 (issues #63 and #64) are not included. Keep DEBUG_MODE=off (the default): when capture is enabled, some request text can be recorded even with DEBUG_CAPTURE_CONTENT=false, and errors-only capture can miss failed streams.
