Summary

Documents the new Slack agent capability (mintlify/server#4833) to read from any repository where the Mintlify GitHub App is installed, not just the docs repo.

Changes

  • Added a "Reference code from other repositories" section to agent/slack.mdx explaining how to ask about accessible repos and reference files using owner/repo:path syntax, and noting that pull requests still target the docs repo only.

Note

Low Risk
Low risk documentation-only change that adds usage guidance; no product logic or data handling is modified.

Overview
Documents a new Slack agent capability to reference and read files from other GitHub repositories where the Mintlify GitHub App is installed.

Adds guidance for discovering accessible repos, referencing files via owner/repo:path/to/file, and clarifies that cross-repo access is read-only while PRs are still opened only against the documentation repository.

Closing as duplicate: this feature is already documented and merged. PR #5541 (Document Slack agent cross-repo access) was merged to main and includes the same Slack agent cross-repo reference capability (referencing mintlify/server#4833).
