• Implemented a feature flag for archive mode. When turned on it will do the following:
  • Show a different ‘what’s new’ for users
  • Show an archive mode end state if there are no contents or the app is opened for the first time
  • The strippen refresh is disabled
• Implemented three feature flags for the menu which toggle the visibility of the migration, add event, and scan certificate buttons
• Removed UI entries for adding events
• Events and credentials are now kept and valid for 1 year, data can no longer be deleted
• Added an option to store/share a PDF of all certificates
• Updated the privacy statement
• Updated the copy and added translations
• Removed the CTB logic from the code as CTB is inactive and will not return
• Security: HTML is now stripped from all data points to prevent an XSS vulnerability

• Adjusted the helpdesk opening hours
• Added "gegevens opgehaald bij:" to positive and negative tests
• Implemented dark mode to make sure the app is fully accessible
• Fixed some animation issues that became apparent after changing the animation framework
• Disabled background refresh when the app is deactivated to prevent unnecessary activity on the app

• Added an error state in case the app cannot be launched
• The phone number and operating times of the Helpdesk are now dynamic elements
• The app version and config details are visible on the ‘About this app’ page again
• Made a number of small changes to the ‘Are the details correct’ page for consistency with the iOS app
• The user can now copy text from the app
• Changed the animation framework for accessibility and testing purposes
• Fixed a bug where the app went back to the DigiD login screen without showing fetched vaccinations if one of the providers didn’t respond or experienced a timeout

• when fetching a certificate with a bad connection, there was a small chance this could lead to a crash. This error has been fixed.

CoronaCheck 4.10

• Aligned the details of events and certificates between the iOS and Android apps (US #5068)
• Changed the menu structure and added some pages to offer more helpful info to users (US #5123)
• Going back from the ‘Are these details correct?’ screen now brings you to the previous screen instead of to the overview (US #5134)
• DigiD events are now retrieved faster (US #5163)
  Bug fixes:
• Added a fix for a crash that affects a few devices when decrypting the keystore (#5227)

CoronaCheck 4.9

• The vaccine version has been added to the vaccination details
• Aborting the fuzzy matching flow no longer leads to stored events
• The user is now always able to escape the fuzzy matching flow
• The text for ‘About this app’ was updated to reflect the current corona situation
• Modules (all modules can be found in https://github.com/minvws/nl-rdo-app-ios-modules and https://github.com/minvws/nl-rdo-app-android-modules):
  • Extracted the Luhn checker to a separate reusable module
  • Extracted the QR code generator to a separate reusable module
  • Extracted the DigiD/TVS connection (OpenIDConnect implementation) to a separate reusable module
  • Extracted the HTTP client security extension to a separate reusable module
  • Extracted Lokalise scripts so they can be used for other Lokalise based projects
• Created/updated ‘as built’ documentation for CoronaCheck
• Implemented several smaller design corrections
• Updated the certificate transparency server url
• Bug fix: country was shown incorrectly for Dutch in a foreign country

CoronaCheck 4.8

• Fuzzy matching: If a user’s name is written in several different ways, the user needs to indicate which spelling is correct. Data connected to that spelling will be kept. Incorrect data should be corrected by the provider.
• Aligned the release process with iOS
• To avoid confusion, the app now contains a loading state when adding events via DigiD in case the server is slow
• Removed the CoronaMelder information at the bottom
• Fixed issues from Github users:
  • Issue 72: Application doesn't show QR code and requires connection to the internet with imported certificate
  • Issue 65: no QR code for corona + 1 vaccination
  • Issue 51: QR generated based on date of most recent ‘last dose’ (booster) instead of earliest ‘last dose’
• Tech debt
  • Changes in mobile core library building to guarantee open sourced code
  • Organised project dependencies with version catalogs
  • Updated all project dependencies and targeted latest android sdk (33)
  • Improved ci setup

CoronaCheck 4.7

• Implemented preparations in case the CTB will be reactivated
• The validity for CTBs now follows the same rules that are used for the foreign DCCs in order to prevent DCCs from disappearing after a year
• If a QR code is on the deny list, the app will now inform the user that the certificate is deemed invalid and has been deleted/cannot be added
• Copy changes:
  • Removed discrepancies in bottomsheet copies for ‘over je bewijs’
  • Removed discrepancies in the use of ‘your/my certificates’, ‘jouw/mijn bewijzen’
