- implement #1 in d54ad07: the touch controls now have their very own settings tab!
- touch controls are now always visible by default, so that gamepads that Godot recognizes as such, but does not map correctly out of the box (e.g. GameSir X5 Lite), dont require any tomfoolery to get working. just use the touch controls to navigate to the controller binding tab and map the problematic controller! afterwards, visit
Settings->Touch Controls->Visibilityand set it toAutoorHide! - the legacy touch controls visibility behaviour, of auto-hiding the touch controls when a gamepad is connected, is still available as
AutounderSettings->Touch Controls->Visibility. - users now have the choice to force hide the touch controls by setting
Settings->Touch Controls->VisibilitytoHide. if one accidentally happens to set theVisibilitytoHide, without having another means of input available, they are encouraged to tap and hold the reset options button at the bottom of the screen! - implement a touch controls haptic feedback toggle.
- implement #63: the option to show the touch controls during level transitions, for speedrun reasons, now exists
- rework poorly designed
