Penguin AI Center Browser Extension v0.4.14

Official Chrome/Chromium browser extension for Penguin AI Center. Requires the Penguin AI Center desktop Connector for local pairing.

Download & install (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Download Source code (zip) below and extract it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (Edge: edge://extensions).
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Select Load unpacked, then choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  5. Click the Penguin extension icon and connect to the locally running Penguin AI Center Connector. Approve browser tab/session access only when needed.

  • v0.4.14: extension screenshot permission diagnostics and authorized-tab capture handling.
  • v0.4.13: automatic recovery of connector pairing after restart.
  • v0.4.12: browser permission heartbeat diagnostics.
  • v0.4.11: stable per-tab authorization and routing.

Security & limitations

  • This release contains the browser extension's eight runtime files; no native-host, credentials, or development tests.
  • The Source code ZIP is an unpacked developer-mode extension, not a Chrome Web Store installation or signed CRX.
