New Features

This release introduces new endpoints for Marketplace OAuth2 client management, webhook execution resumption, and User spotlight tracking. It also enhances the extension listing capabilities with new filtering options and provides updated request/response schemas for container service declarations.

Marketplace Enhancements

  • Added contributorGetOauthClient to retrieve detailed information about specific OAuth2 clients, including allowed grant types, redirect URIs, scopes, and client type.
  • Introduced extensionResumeWebhookExecutionForExtensionInstance to resume suspended webhook executions for a given extension instance.
  • Added contract.interactionRequired query parameter to ExtensionListExtensionInstancesRequest for filtering extensions based on pending contract interactions.

User Spotlight Management

  • Added getSpotlightInfo to fetch the status, acknowledgment state, and decision details for a specific spotlight.
  • Introduced spotlightFeedback to submit user feedback and decisions (keep, kill, ignore) along with optional messages.
  • Added spotlightUsage to record and submit usage metrics for feature spotlights.

Deprecations

  • Stack Properties: description and updateSchedule in stack update requests are deprecated. Use x-description and x-update-schedule instead.
  • Container Restart Policy: restartPolicy in service declarations is deprecated. Use restart to align with Docker Compose restart policies (no, always, on-failure, unless-stopped).
  • Spotlight Owner Field: The owner property in spotlight feedback and usage request bodies is deprecated as it is no longer writable.

API Behavior & Compatibility Updates

  • Declarative Stack PUT Clarification: Updated documentation to clarify that the declarative stack PUT endpoint deliberately omits x-description and x-update-schedule to prevent accidental value resets. These properties will be integrated into the declarative PUT in the upcoming API v3.
  • Optional Extension Context: The context field in UnpublishedExtension is now optional rather than required.

Documentation Updates

  • Updated inline docblocks and validation schemas to reflect new fields and deprecation notices.
  • Added comprehensive request builders, response containers, and type mappings for all new endpoints.
