Readability MCP Server DXT Package

This release includes the DXT package for easy installation in Claude Desktop.

Installation

  1. Download readability-0.7.0.dxt
  2. Open Claude Desktop
  3. Drag and drop the .dxt file or use File → Install Extension
  4. Click "Install"

Usage

Once installed, you can use the read_url_content_as_markdown tool to extract readable content from web pages.

Example prompt:

Using read_url_content_as_markdown, extract and summarize the content from https://example.com/article
