This is the initial public release of the NeRD algorithm for detecting damage features on Antarctic ice shelves.

Key features:

  • Application of method in either matlab or python
  • Python Notebook with example

This version includes all code and dependencies used in the publication: "Damage Detection on Antarctic Ice Shelves
using the Normalised Radon Transform" by M. Izeboud and S. Lhermitte (2023), Remote Sensing of Environment, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.rse.2022.113359.
