gdirect v0.1.2
Fixes portable downloads failing with libaria2 code -1 on machines without the build machine's OpenSSL legacy module. HTTP-only builds now use the built-in default provider; no extra OpenSSL installation or OPENSSL_MODULES configuration is required. Native integration tests now run with an unavailable module directory to prevent regressions.
gdirect now embeds the official Google Rust authentication SDK. gcloud CLI is no longer required. First-time users still need their own Google Desktop OAuth client JSON; follow the setup guide before logging in.
- English setup guide / 中文配置指南
- Browser OAuth with PKCE, local SQLite credentials and automatic token refresh. Existing authorized-user ADC credentials can be imported without executing gcloud.
- One-command installers for macOS, supported Linux distributions and Windows, with SHA-256 verification and optional mount dependency installation.
- Mounting uses rclone 1.75.2+: macOS uses NFS, Linux requires FUSE3, Windows requires WinFsp. CLI browsing, upload and download do not require rclone.
- Separate English and Chinese installation/usage READMEs and first-time configuration guides, also bundled in release archives.
Validated with actual browser login, SDK refresh while gcloud was unavailable, Drive upload/download integrity and a writable macOS mount. CI builds and tests macOS Apple Silicon/Intel, Linux x86_64 and Windows x86_64; installer tests reject altered checksums. Windows driver-backed mounting was not tested on a physical Windows machine.
gdirect v0.1.1
Superseded by v0.1.2: a portable OpenSSL initialization bug can cause downloads to fail with code -1. Please install the latest release.

gdirect v0.1.0
First release of gdirect — browse, download, upload and mount Google Drive.
- Pinned libaria2 1.37.0, linked into the CLI; downloads use 8 connections by default.
- Automatic working-IP discovery, with local SQLite state.
- Folder browser with preview and download progress.
- Native resumable uploads in 8 MiB chunks; repeat the same command to resume.
- Local writable mounts through rclone, using refreshable gcloud credentials.

Use
gdirect login --reauth
gdirect browse
gdirect upload ./file.zip
# Mounting additionally requires rclone and Drive-enabled ADC.
gcloud auth login --enable-gdrive-access --update-adc
gdirect mount
gdirect unmountMounts use system network routing; direct CLI transfers use the scanned Google IP. macOS mounts use built-in NFS, Linux needs FUSE3, and Windows needs WinFsp.
