One verb to set up the host. Distro-aware (apt/dnf/pacman/zypper), idempotent, dry-run by default. Optional Python tools install via uv tool install rather than pip --user.

autokernel install-deps                          # see what would be installed
autokernel install-deps --for build --execute    # build deps only
autokernel install-deps --execute                # everything

quickstart now points users at this verb when preflight has failures, closing the "copy-paste apt install" gap.
