Watch eSIM Helper 0.2

First public release, marked experimental.

Features

  • Scan an eSIM QR code with the camera, read it from an image, or paste an activation code.
  • Pass the code to the official Google Pixel Watch app for downloading to the paired LTE watch.
  • English default language, Polish translation, and Android 13+ per-app language selection.
  • Explanation of the Google app's fixed “Connect to Fi” screen label.
  • Local QR decoding; the helper requests camera permission and has no internet permission.

Installation

Download watch-esim-helper-0.2.apk below and install it on your phone.
Android 10 or later and the official Google Pixel Watch app are required.
Keep the watch paired and connected, read your QR code, then tap Start adding eSIM to watch.
Continue in the Google app and check the installed profile on the watch.

This APK uses the same signing certificate as the locally distributed 0.1 build,
so it can be installed as an update to that build.

Compatibility and test status

  • A user reported a successful eSIM-adding flow with Helper 0.1 on Pixel Watch 3 LTE,
using a phone without root and the Google Pixel Watch version then available from Google Play.
  • The exact Google Play version, phone model, Android version and carrier are pending confirmation.
  • The entry point was identified by analyzing Pixel Watch 4.5.0.962111068.
  • Version 0.2 adds localization and the Fi-screen explanation. Its UI has not yet been
    tested on a physical device.
  • 33 local checks passed for activation codes, URI encoding and QR decoding.
APK signing and ZIP alignment were verified.

Profile compatibility and cellular services still depend on the watch and carrier.
The direct download flow does not support a separate eSIM confirmation code.
