Professional Code Audit

This release addresses findings from a comprehensive code audit.

Critical Fixes

  • Fixed npm security vulnerability (hono package)
  • Added React error boundary for dashboard crash handling
  • Set up Jest test infrastructure with 31 passing tests

High Priority Fixes

  • Fixed type safety in embeddings (replaced any with proper interface)
  • Fixed Three.js memory leaks in BrainMesh component
  • Fixed WebSocket dependency array to prevent reconnection loops
  • Added type-safe material casting in SynapseNodes
  • Added test, coverage, and audit npm scripts
  • Created .npmignore for cleaner npm package

Test Coverage

Tests now cover:

  • Memory type configurations
  • Deletion thresholds
  • Salience detection algorithms
  • Temporal decay calculations
  • Text similarity (Jaccard)
  • Content truncation
