Included In This Release

Ready-to-flash firmware for Waveshare ESP32-C6-LCD-1.47 and the Windows portable companion app.

Firmware:

• works with the KY-018 light sensor
• shows the current reading on the LCD
• sends telemetry over USB Serial
• stays compatible with the Windows application from this repository

Windows app:

• reads live raw telemetry from the device
• applies monitor brightness from the configured response curve
• keeps manual brightness control available even when live sensor telemetry is temporarily missing

Release Files

• luma-bloom-pc-app_1.4.0_win-x64-portable.zip - folder with the exe file
• luma_bloom_esp32c6_1.4.0_merged.bin - firmware binary for flashing the device

What Changed

• simplified the firmware and desktop contract around the raw ADC telemetry field as the single live sensor measurement on the wire
• removed the legacy startup auto-calibration flow from the Windows app and related config/profile plumbing
• kept compatibility calibration messages available in firmware for manual or legacy flows, while normal runtime now works directly from raw
• fixed manual brightness mode so it still works when the app has no current sensor telemetry
• dropped the old ESP32-C3 firmware track and aligned the repo around the ESP32-C6 release target
• refreshed docs and examples to match the current telemetry and setup flow

Supported Hardware

• Waveshare ESP32-C6-LCD-1.47 board
• KY-018 sensor

Wiring:

• VCC -> 3V3
• GND -> GND
• AO -> GPIO4

GPIO0 is no longer recommended for KY-018 on ESP32-C6 because it can interfere with normal board startup.
