GenZui Serif 0.112 contains 17,053 encoded characters in one Regular font.

  • Reduced 𛄥 TOTE to balance with 𪜈 TOMO, with a slightly smaller 𛄤 TOKI.
  • Added ㌬ U+332C SQUARE PAATU in horizontal and vertical forms, using Noto Serif JP squared-katakana components.
  • Completed all 763 characters identified by Unicode 18’s Hiragana/Katakana Script and Script_Extensions properties. The four CJK-encoded kana ligatures and Minnan combining marks are also covered.

Encoded coverage does not include every unencoded historical variant or guarantee arbitrary combining sequences. Shared ideographs retain Japanese forms; Regular is the available weight.

Based on Noto Serif JP, Noto Serif Hentaigana and FRB Taiwanese Kana. SIL OFL 1.1. The ZIP includes font files, an offline specimen, an optional Windows installer, validation reports and licences.

Verified in Chrome, Vivaldi and Firefox, with horizontal/vertical shaping and TTF/WOFF2 parity checks.
