Featherline 1.3.3

Choose a tag to compare

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 27 Jun 10:24
60b62e4

A small release that prepares Featherline for F-Droid distribution.

Added

  • Added F-Droid listing metadata, including localized descriptions, screenshots, icons, and release notes.
  • Added a reproducible release build path so F-Droid can verify the APK while preserving Featherline's existing app signature.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 27 Jun 07:38
e1dd1f2

A small release that restores the background blur effect for dialogs.

Changed

  • On Android 12+, dialogs once again show the translucent background blur effect. The date-picker transparency issue that caused it to be turned off in 1.3.1 has been fixed.
  • The "Customize cards" dialog now also shows the background blur effect.

Fixed

  • Future-dated milestones on the Journal timeline now read "Planned for " instead of "Since ".

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 26 Jun 17:12
2bd681a

A small bug-fix release.

Fixed

  • The year selector in date pickers no longer turns see-through and reveals the calendar behind it when the background blur effect is enabled. As a result, dialogs no longer use the blur effect.
  • Switching a date picker between its calendar and text-entry modes no longer stutters.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 26 Jun 08:19
a49dd3a

A feature release introducing the Journal — track meaningful dates and write daily notes — plus import from another HRT tracker and customizable home cards.

Added

  • A new Journal tab to track meaningful dates, each with its own icon and color, and see how long it has been on a timeline with upcoming milestones.
  • Daily notes: write a short note for any day from the Journal tab, then browse, edit, or delete past notes.
  • Import your dose history and blood test results from another HRT tracker's exported file.
  • Reorder and hide the home-screen cards from a new "Customize cards" option in the top-bar menu.

Fixed

  • The medium home-screen widget no longer shows "0/0" above an empty panel on a day with a logged manual dose but nothing scheduled.
  • Custom medication group and journal date colors now follow the in-app dark/light theme instead of the system setting.
  • On Android 12 and below, the navigation bar no longer keeps the wrong width for one rotation before correcting itself.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

Featherline 1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 14 Jun 06:05
9fa9b5a

A visual polish, widget theming, and navigation reliability release.

Added

  • On Android 12+, app bars, bottom sheets, and dialogs can now show a translucent blur of the content behind them, with a setting to turn the effect off.
  • The home-screen widget theme can now be customized from Settings or the widget editor, including accent color, saturation, and light balance. Widget appearance is included in backups.

Changed

  • App content now draws edge-to-edge behind the bottom navigation bar, and the top app bar fades in as content scrolls beneath it.
  • Reconfiguring a home-screen widget now opens a full-screen editor with a live preview over your wallpaper.
  • The home-screen widget now tints its background and cards from the color theme instead of neutral grays.

Fixed

  • Long-list scrolling, scroll-to-top, tab switching, and window resizing should now feel smoother and more stable.
  • Sheets and dialogs no longer flash over the wrong screen or reappear unexpectedly when opened during navigation.
  • Saving, deleting, archiving, reminder permission changes, backup restores, and home estradiol chart updates now refresh more reliably without stale intermediate UI.
  • The home-screen widget no longer briefly flips back to out-of-date content after returning to the launcher or closing the widget editor.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

Featherline 1.1.4

Choose a tag to compare

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 09 Jun 07:15
726eb4d

An antiandrogen-card and backup-restore reliability release.

Added

  • The antiandrogen card now lists an ad-hoc (manual) dose as its own row after the planned doses, marked "manual", instead of replacing a planned dose's details.

Fixed

  • The antiandrogen card no longer treats a dose pre-logged for later today as the most recent dose.
  • When a group tracks the same antiandrogen at more than one dose, each dose now shows its own last dose, including doses logged on earlier days.
  • Restoring a backup now reliably refreshes the home screen, blood tests, low-stock warnings, and medicine details, instead of occasionally showing stale data until the app was restarted.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 08 Jun 12:35
7270ad3

A small localization and dose-summary release.

Added

  • The medication log editor now shows an archive icon when logging or editing a dose from an archived group, matching the indicator on the home, plan, and history lists.

Changed

  • Multi-unit dose summaries now fold the count into the dose (e.g. "1.5 tablets · 15 mg") instead of showing a separate count multiplier like "2x".

Fixed

  • Stock and dose numbers now use the selected app language's number format (such as a decimal comma) consistently across the app, reminders, and the widget.
  • Reminder and widget text, including the toast shown after logging a dose, now appears in the chosen app language on older Android versions, instead of occasionally falling back to the system language.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

Changed

  • On Android 12+, the app and widget now follow the system's full Material You palette (its secondary and tertiary accents, not just the primary color).

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.

Featherline 1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@mkx173 mkx173 released this 07 Jun 05:12
ed24060

A feature release: record the actual administered dose with a snap ruler, a unified Material You look across the app and widget, smarter stock tracking, an AMOLED theme, and broader device support — plus a large batch of fixes.

Added

  • Administered amount — log an injection or gel dose as an offset from the plan with a snap ruler; it feeds stock and the estradiol projection across Home, Plan, and History.
  • Stock tracking nudges — a prompt to start tracking after creating a medicine, a post-log low-stock snackbar, and an optional before/after stock deduction when batch-adding backfilled doses.
  • AMOLED theme — a pure-black dark theme toggle.
  • Android 8.0+ — support for Android 8.0 (Oreo) and later.
  • Widget reconfigure — adjust the home-screen widget's appearance from the launcher's long-press menu (Android 12+).

Changed

  • Unified palette — the app and home-screen widget now share one Material You palette.
  • Backdated archiving lets you set the date a plan actually ended.
  • Custom medicines can now be renamed.
  • General UI polish across icons, the splash icon, widget previews, and wording.

Fixed

  • In-app language and theme changes apply in place, without a blank-screen flash.
  • The large widget no longer sometimes renders the medium layout in release builds.
  • Restoring a backup safely rejects oversized or corrupt files instead of hanging.
  • Editing a medicine's preparation no longer clears its stock or disables tracking.

⚠️ Not medical advice. Featherline is a tracking tool, not a medical device. The PK projection is a rough population-average estimate, not a substitute for blood tests or a clinician's interpretation. See docs/safety.md.
