This beta expands MPViewer's fast macOS photo-browsing workflow with the features added during the latest development pass.

What's new

• Expandable folder tree in the left sidebar
• Fullscreen zoom navigator with a visible-area frame
• Drag and resize the navigator; its layout is remembered
• Pan zoomed photographs with the left mouse button
• +, -, arrow, numeric, trackpad, and configurable mouse-wheel zoom controls
• Fullscreen EXIF and histogram panel at the right screen edge
• Improved progressive high-resolution and RAW loading
• Expanded Crop & Straighten with movable/resizable crop handles and Freehand mode
• System, Light, and Dark appearance settings
• Searchable in-app Help with updated instructions
• New MPViewer application icon

Important installation notice

This beta is ad-hoc signed. It is not yet signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and has not been notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper may block the first launch.

1. Download and open the DMG.
2. Drag MPViewer.app to Applications.
3. Control-click or right-click MPViewer in Applications and choose Open.
4. If macOS still blocks it, try once, then open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway beside MPViewer.

Complete instructions are available in INSTALL.md and inside the DMG as READ ME FIRST.txt.

Use copies of photographs while testing file-changing features such as Batch Rename, Move, Trash, Crop, and Quick Export.
