v0.1.0 — Scholar Sidekick for Zotero

First release. A Zotero 7–9 plugin that verifies a bibliography before it enters your library.

What it does

• Tools → Verify & import bibliography — paste text or open a .bib/.ris. Entries are parsed with Zotero's own translators (nothing is committed yet).
• Each entry gets a verdict: Verified, Mismatch (the AI-fabrication pattern — a real DOI wearing an invented title), Resolved (bare identifier), Not found.
• Retraction/correction and open-access status surface per row.
• Import only the rows you tick → resolved metadata + a verification note, filed into the collection you choose. Retracted items are tagged retracted.

Thin client over the public Scholar Sidekick API. The anonymous tier works with no API key.

Install

1. Download scholar-sidekick-0.1.0.xpi below.
2. In Zotero: Tools → Plugins → ⚙ → Install Plugin From File…, choose the .xpi.
3. Restart Zotero.

Works on Zotero 7, 8, and 9. Installed copies auto-update.
