If graphviz terminates during graph rendering in the following way
graphviz exited: Warning: Unable to reclaim box space in spline routing for edge "1021450" -> "1021444". Something is probably seriously wrong.
you may need to update graphviz to a more recent version. If this does not solve the problem, take a look at the fonts that are available to graphviz. If you run graphviz with Pango enabled, try to drop the Liberation Serif Regular font in a font directory (such as $HOME/.fonts).
