We recently noticed that the xray-core project, which NeXT-Server is originally based on, has pushed some rather controversial changes:

It changed the package versioning scheme, which completely broke Golang's package/module registry and made auto-patching impossible.
It removed QUIC transport which is used by many non-Chinese VPN/Anti censorship tools.

To say these changes are insane is quite an understatement, but since we did not participate in the development of that project in any way, we won't further comment on the issue.

Start with NeXT Server 0.4.0, we will rebase the project with v2fly/v2ray-core instead, it has all the protocl and transport method we plan to support, and it also has some new configuration we would like to experiment with, for example, the Mekya transport
