First public release of Obsidian Zot, a Zotero 9 plugin that keeps your Obsidian vault in sync with your Zotero library.

Features

• Auto-sync — Obsidian markdown files are created or updated whenever you add or modify a Zotero item
• Child notes — notes added via right-click → Add Note in Zotero are exported to a dedicated # Zotero Notes section
• PDF highlights — annotations are exported with their highlight color (emoji), page number, and any attached comment
• YAML frontmatter — title, authors, year, item type, journal, publisher, DOI, URL, Zotero key, and deep link
• User content preserved — sections you add in Obsidian survive every sync; only Zotero-driven sections are refreshed
• Soft delete — deleted items are marked obsidianZotStatus: deleted rather than removed from disk
• Custom templates — replace the default layout with your own Markdown template using {{variables}}
• Configurable — vault path, note subfolder, file name format, and template are all configurable in Zotero → Settings → Obsidian Zot
