Sessions: an agent per app (now the default)
- Each app in a session has its own agent and its own conversation, with only that app's tools, so every step reads less.
- A message for several apps (or none) goes to a coordinator: it plans the steps, the app agents do them (independent steps at the same time, each step gets the results and files of the steps it needs), and it writes the answer. A step that fails skips the steps that need it.
- In the chat such a message is one message: the plan with each step's state (waiting, running, done, failed, skipped), each step's activity and screenshots, the answer, and what it all took.
- The session header has a One agent / Agent per app switch, and a chip per app agent with its messages and context; click one to see only that agent's messages.
- The prompt bar says where a message goes: "Goes to the VectorCraft agent" or "A coordinator plans it and the app agents do the steps".
- New sessions start with an agent per app; Settings › New sessions (sessions.default_mode) changes that. Settings › coordinator model (sessions.coordinator_model) can make planning cheaper.
Smaller context, fewer tokens
- Under every finished message and task: the context size of the last step and how much came from the prompt cache (e.g. "context 281K · cache 95%").
- When an agent's conversation grows past 150,000 tokens of context, the next message starts a fresh conversation with the session's journal (Settings › Fresh start after; 0: never). "Fresh start" in the prompt bar does it by hand.
The session journal
- crew.md in the session folder: after every message, who did what, with which files, and how it ended. Agents that do not remember a message read it there; notes you add between entries stay.
Updates
- When a newer CraftCrew is out, the top bar shows "Update to …": the release notes and Update and restart. It never updates by itself.
Fixes
- Tasks list: long titles and the SKIP PERMISSIONS badge no longer overlap.

Tests: count FigCraft as the seventh app The FigCraft commit left the six-app expectations behind: app lists, release checks, port and quit tables, the recipe error's allowed apps, the UI cards. FigCraft also gets its rows in the adapter table, and docs/APPS.md names `plugin.directory.unpublish` in full. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
