v8.0.0.1 — Windows Debloat, Network & Repair Preview
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.1 — Windows Debloat, Network & Repair Preview
20 October 2026 · Development pre-release · Windows 10 / 11 x64 targets
What's included
- Built-in Windows Apps: Installed / Not installed / Not verified filters,
alphabetical lists, counts and visible-only selection. - Essential, Gaming and Advanced Windows Tweaks & De-Bloat: analyzed ON / OFF /
partial / unavailable / not verified filters. Hidden selections are cleared;
changing filters never applies a tweak. - Windows Update Fix: verified stop/restart of BITS, wuauserv and cryptsvc,
preserved DataStore/Download/catroot2 backups, diagnostic errors and recovery
after interrupted operations. Protected UsoSvc/DoSvc are not force-stopped. - Network Settings Manager: direct Ethernet and connected-SSID Wi-Fi IP/DNS
editing with validation, read-back and recovery snapshots. Wi-Fi support is
build-limited; global adapter defaults are not substituted for per-SSID edits. - Ethernet DNS-only policy false-positive correction with conservative gates
retained for other policy contents, domains and IP/category changes. - Intel GPU catalog request-header fix, shared GPU action header and driver
channels retained. No driver installs automatically after an update check. - Version raised to 8.0.0.1 in application and package/executable manifests.
README, CHANGELOG and acceptance documentation refreshed.

608A82DB10355EE024C6DA53A0109A43CE96BA8236021B19D3DCA39731BDEF92
The installer is unsigned. Verify its origin and checksum, retain backups,
and review confirmations before changing Windows. Do not disable protection to
run it. Previous releases remain intact; this preview does not replace the
previous stable release designation.
Verification
Fresh Native AOT / Inno Setup packaging completed for v8.0.0.1. Automated checks:
- 4,984 backend regression assertions.
- 276 network workflow assertions, plus SSID codec/identity and policy fixtures.
- 375 English UI/localization assertions; 163 GPU metadata/service assertions.
- 33 project identity, 16 installer-location and 10 publish-stage assertions.
- Full publish-stage file inventory/hashes and numeric executable versions checked.
The focused repair/storage runner contains 29 simulated Windows Update workflow
assertions and 89 synthetic vendor SMART assertions, also covered by the full suite.
These counts are not additive evidence of physical hardware compatibility.
The owner-operated 15 October VMware test of the preceding local build
completed all six Windows Update cache/service stages with zero warnings;
service runtime/startup read-back and retained backups were verified. The same
repair source is included here. That log does not prove that a previously
stuck online download finished. No new live Windows repair was run for this package.
Earlier scoped network tests verified per-SSID DNS after a new boot (12/12 bound
DNS/HTTPS checks and 8/8 resolver queries), and VMware Ethernet DNS Apply/rollback.
They do not certify every adapter, Windows build, IP/gateway edit or DNS setup.
Known limits
- Intel RST / ASMedia ASM2362 / Realtek RTL9210 paths remain fixture-tested,
not physically verified. No supported test hardware was available; RAID
array health and hidden-member enumeration are not inferred. - Online stuck-download recovery, broader live network/additional-action tests,
and installation/upgrade/uninstall coverage remain incomplete. - Original router IPv6 DNS timeouts are not repaired by using another resolver.
- Complex/encrypted DNS remains guarded; SMTP is a bounded connectivity check,
not a certified full mail configuration workflow.
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 - GPU Driver & Header Preview (8 October 2026)
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — GPU Driver & Header Preview
8 October 2026 · Development pre-release · Windows 10 / 11 x64 targets
What's new
- GPU Driver Manager groups Check for updates, Repair driver and
Download & install in one fixed, responsive header. - NVIDIA installed versions use the public format, such as 617.14, instead
of the Windows INF form32.0.16.1714. - Choose verified driver types for the selected GPU/OS: NVIDIA Game Ready / Studio,
workstation RTX Enterprise, supported AMD Recommended / Optional packages, and
Intel Graphics / Arc Pro where the catalog confirms support. - The release panel displays version, date, official source and release time
only when supplied by the vendor. Missing hours are not invented. Checking
metadata never installs or downloads a driver package automatically. - Install and Repair confirm and revalidate the selected channel/release. Repair
can update or switch the driver type; it is not necessarily same-version repair.
No silent substitute-channel fallback or automatic downgrade is offered. - About / Task Monitoring / Exit stay within the viewport on all sidebar pages.
- README now has clearer navigation, refreshed feature documentation and labelled
GPU header previews, alongside the existing Home Light/Dark screenshots.

The installer is unsigned. Verify its source/checksum, back up important data,
and review each confirmation. Do not disable system protection to run it.
Verification and limitations
Fresh Native AOT / Inno Setup packaging passes. Regression checks cover 151 GPU
metadata/service assertions, 4,786 profile/action assertions, 347 English UI
checks, 92 routing checks, 33 identity checks, 27 simplified-interface checks and
91 icon checks. The implementation's native UI suite passes 41,521 assertions,
including 12 GPU-header/panel combinations in Light/Dark at 25/100/200% text scale.
Read-only NVIDIA catalogs were checked on the development RTX 4070 Ti SUPER;
additional AMD/workstation cases use synthetic identities. Intel currently returns
HTTP 403 on the development PC; Intel parsing is fixture-tested, not live-certified.
Unsupported/OEM GPUs may require the manufacturer's manual driver workflow.
No real driver installation or repair was performed in these tests. Neither
test counts nor a successful build establish universal hardware compatibility.
HVCI remains read-only; previously removed storage/offline/resource modules are
not reintroduced. Existing tweak, repair, SMART and recovery features are retained.
This preview does not replace earlier release history or claim a stable milestone.
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — Simplified UI Preview (2 October 2026)

Changes
- Analysis progress and expandable results now stay in the relevant catalog,
runtime, GPU, MSI or BitLocker window. Report collection, action inventory and
security evidence also use inline presentation instead of extra analysis windows. - Long confirmation and message text wraps and scrolls. Apply/Cancel remain
outside the scroll area so every warning can be read before proceeding. - Removed Resource Analyzer, Background Owner Finder, Storage / Windows Servicing,
Offline Image Workspace and standalone HVCI Enable/Disable/Restore controls.
Historical module fixtures are test-only and excluded from the application build. - HVCI status is read-only. The independent guarded LSA Enable control remains;
Windows Security is available for reviewing Memory integrity settings. - Retained Disk Info/SMART, system reports, repair tools, existing tweak/recovery
backends, shared privacy snapshots and separate Apply/Restore progress. - Updated README, changelog and current-versus-historical feature documentation.
Removal of a module does not delete user backups, change protection settings,
or modify offline images and virtual machines. Earlier release history is retained.
Validation and limits
Regression evidence: 4,786 profile/action assertions, 337 English UI checks,
20,961 native WinUI assertions, 27 simplified-interface source checks, 92 catalog
interaction checks and 33 project-identity checks. Native UI coverage includes
128 layout cases, both themes, scaling, long confirmation scrolling and inline
error details. Native AOT x64 and Inno Setup packaging are checked separately.
This is a pre-release, not universal Windows/hardware certification. Live LSA,
driver and controller compatibility remain limited; passing UI/mock tests is not
proof of safe settings for every PC. No host tweak, security mutation, uninstall,
servicing operation or reboot is performed as part of publication checks.

Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — Development Preview (1 October 2026)
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — Development Preview
1 October 2026 · Windows x64 · English-only interface
This pre-release packages the development source at commit
4cc7f5732138eb190eac04a34ac13957894efd55. The application/file version remains
8.0.0.0; the dated tag identifies this build without replacing earlier releases.
New servicing, security and offline-image workflows are still under validation.
Use a disposable VM or dedicated test PC for those operations, retain backups,
and do not apply every tweak indiscriminately.
Added and improved
- Resource Analyzer: ten-sample before/after measurements of memory, CPU,
disk activity, Windows-volume free space, process/thread/handle counts and the
utility's own overhead. Reports include raw samples, median/range and unavailable
readings. It measures results; it does not promise FPS or latency improvements. - Background Owner Finder: read-only process, parent and service ownership
evidence. No process termination or shared-runtime removal. - Action inventory and execution safeguards: catalog effect/conflict checks,
canonical batch deduplication, durable operation journals, stale-scan rejection,
and hibernation/Fast Startup dependency checks. - Shared privacy originals: Advertising ID and Tailored Experiences retain a
common original across the migrated Essential/Advanced aliases. Conflicting,
malformed or interrupted legacy snapshots block writes. Other snapshot owners
have not all been consolidated. - Storage / Windows Servicing: individual feature/capability operations,
command evidence, component analysis/cleanup and driver inventory/export.
Irreversible ResetBase requires a separate typed confirmation. Reserved Storage,
CompactOS and Windows RE are inspection-only in this panel. - Individual protection controls: guarded HVCI controls with separate
configuration/runtime evidence, plus eligible protection-strengthening LSA
enable. Management/policy/unknown-lock checks remain in place. Automatic LSA
Disable/Restore is not provided; protection reductions are not generic
performance recommendations. - Offline Image Workspace: validated, checksum-verified WIM copies, a
conservative removable-item inventory, operation manifests, Commit/Discard,
export and interrupted-session recovery. No ISO builder or arbitrary WinSxS
deletion is included. - Validation tooling: isolated guest identity checks, copy-based legacy-backup
migration rehearsal, staged reboot-aware tests, and read-only WIM/ESD readiness. - Documentation: updated README, backlog and guest results; historical report
references no longer appear as broken download links. Existing Light/Dark
previews, sidebar, device SMART/TB reports, app catalogs and profile tools remain.
Verification and limits
- Debug x64: 0 warnings, 0 errors. Fresh Native AOT publishing and Inno Setup
packaging succeeded, along with 91 icon checks. The installer remains
unsigned and has not been installed or interactively smoke-tested in this
publication run. - Regression results: 4,786 profile/action assertions, 353 English UI
checks, 54 LSA, 70 security/offline, 33 storage, 22 VM-isolation
and 51 WIM-readiness checks. These are pure/mock/test-owned checks, not a
complete native Windows mutation matrix. - User-provided disposable-guest evidence: all three profiles reached 23/23 and
restored baseline after intentional failure; RSC was not applicable. This
does not establish profile effectiveness after reboot. - Print to PDF completed Disable → reboot → Restore → reboot and returned to
its Enabled baseline. Actual printing and other storage operations were not tested. - Shared snapshot ownership/retirement checks passed, but 0/2 values changed
because they were already applied. Advertising ID legacy-copy migration passed;
Tailored Experiences correctly blocked conflicting original values. - The guest audit ended CompletedWithSkippedControls. HVCI Apply/rollback was
not exercised because eligibility gates blocked it; LSA stayed read-only. - Real offline WIM servicing/export, deployment and first boot remain unverified.
Broader Windows 10/11 and RAID/USB-controller coverage also remain outstanding.
Known issue
The VM audit may print LSA read-only baseline=False because its internal LSA
snapshot property is omitted by default JSON persistence. The resumed comparison
is inconclusive, not proof of protection loss; the live query reported LSA-light
protection. A serialization/reporting fix and regression test are still required.
Do not bypass safety gates or change protection settings to make a report pass.
Download and safety
Download Naufal-Windows-Utility-Setup-8.0.0.0-x64.exe and verify it against
SHA256SUMS.txt. CHANGELOG.md is provided separately; GitHub's source archives
contain source, not an installed application. No VM disk, Windows installation
image, private backup, recovery key or raw personal test log is included.
The installer defaults to
C:\Program Files\Naufal Tech's Limited\Naufal Windows Utility.
Existing per-user data remain under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Naufal Windows Powertoys.
Retain feature-specific registry backups too; that folder is not a complete
system backup. Installation, host tweaks and host reboot were not used as release
publication tests. Earlier stable releases remain available.

Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — SMART & Documentation Refresh
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — SMART and Documentation Refresh
Build: 20260928.2 (28 September 2026). Application version: v8.0.0.0.
Updated in this build
- Neutral wording throughout current source comments, SMART reports and
documentation. Endurance details now say "model-specific endurance rule". - Updated README with both current Light and Dark screenshots visible directly,
using versioned image paths, plus current feature descriptions and limitations. - Third-party copyright and the full MIT license notice remain in the source
and installer. Device calculations and read-only commands are unchanged.
Included disk and system-report features
- Select disks individually; inspect device SMART health, temperature, identity,
firmware, NVMe counters and available ATA attributes. Original disk/volume
information remains accessible in the overview. - Total host reads/writes display decimal TB, with two decimal places, in
the dashboard and Copy / Save TXT. Raw NVMe counters retain 128-bit precision. - Read-only standard NVMe, ATA and USB SAT paths, targeted ASMedia ASM2362 and
Realtek RTL9210 adapters, an identity-checked Intel RST path, and model-scoped
SATA SSD endurance rules. - Optional local IP/MAC addresses in System Report, hidden by default. The same
selection controls Copy / Save TXT. No public-IP lookup is performed.
Verification and limitations
- Latest checks: 4,558 regression assertions, 307 English-only checks,
and 16 static report-export checks passed; no Windows tweaks were applied. - The disk-dashboard update previously passed 20,068 native UI assertions.
Read-only Native AOT probes read two NVMe SSDs and 27 ATA attributes from one
USB drive. These earlier hardware checks are not new controller certification. - Controller-specific RAID/USB additions and SATA vendor endurance rules have
synthetic fixture coverage, not validation on matching hardware. VROC/VMD,
AMD RAID, CSMI, hidden RAID-member enumeration, JMicron NVMe staging and Realtek
dual-drive mode switching are not implemented. - Missing health evidence remains Unknown. Endurance is estimated write wear,
not years remaining or a guarantee against failure. Native Save dialogs were
not exercised by static export checks.

contain source code, not a ready-to-run installer.
Targets Windows 10 / 11 x64; availability varies by Windows build and hardware.
Close the app and finish active tasks before installing, keep restore backups,
and follow Setup's instructions if it detects a different existing install path.
This installer has been built successfully but not end-to-end installed in this
validation run. Earlier release assets remain unchanged.
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — Disk Health Update (28 September 2026)
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 — Disk health and system reports
Build date: 28 September 2026. Application version: v8.0.0.0.
Changes
- Added an individual-disk dashboard with device SMART health, temperature,
identity, firmware, reliability counters and raw ATA attributes. Fixed disk
selector labels intercepting clicks. The original disk/volume report remains
available in the overview tab. - Added native NVMe SMART/identify, ATA and USB SAT read-only paths. Health no
longer substitutes Windows' generic disk status for device SMART evidence. - Total host reads and writes now display decimal TB with two decimal places,
including Copy / Save TXT. Raw 128-bit NVMe counters retain their precision. - Added targeted ASMedia ASM2362, Realtek RTL9210 and Intel RST NVMe adapters,
with identity checks and strict packet/completion validation. - Added model-scoped SATA SSD endurance rules for selected Samsung,
Intel/Solidigm, Crucial/Micron, Kingston and Kioxia/Toshiba families. - Added optional local IP/MAC addresses to System Report. Hidden by default;
the same selection controls display, Copy and Save TXT. No public-IP lookup. - Updated README, report documentation, changelog and third-party notices.
Verification and limitations
- 4,549 regression assertions, 20,068 native UI assertions, 307 English-only
checks and 16 static report-export checks passed during this update. - Read-only Native AOT probes read two real NVMe SSDs and 27 ATA attributes
from a USB drive. No Windows tweaks or device writes were run in these probes. - Controller-specific RAID/USB additions and SATA vendor endurance rules are
tested with synthetic fixtures; matching hardware was unavailable. This is
not a claim of universal controller support or hardware certification. - Missing data remains Unknown / Not reported. SSD endurance is estimated
write wear, not years remaining or a guarantee against drive failure. - VROC/VMD, AMD RAID, CSMI, hidden RAID-member enumeration, JMicron NVMe staging,
and Realtek dual-drive mode switching are not implemented. - Native Save dialogs were not exercised by the static export checks.
See Disk Info coverage
and the attached changelog for details.

The dated build tag preserves earlier releases while keeping the requested
application version at v8.0.0.0.
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0 (27 September 2026)
Naufal Windows Utility v8.0.0.0
Release build: 27 September 2026.
Changes
- Removed the standalone Reboot button from Home. About, Task Monitoring and
Exit use a consistent responsive layout. - Completed restart-sensitive tweaks now queue a shared Restart now / Later
prompt. The prompt waits for active tasks, groups duplicate items and checks
for new work after consent. Failed or unavailable tweaks do not trigger it.
Choosing Later does not schedule a restart. No forced application termination. - Apply and Restore use the same restart policy across catalogs. Profile BCD
changes, successful runtime/driver restart flags and verified MSI changes
also feed the queue; Explorer/app-only refresh settings are excluded. - Standardized active app and installer metadata at 8.0.0.0, displayed as
v8.0.0.0. Dependency versions and historical release records are unchanged. - Updated repository branding/URLs to Naufal-Windows-Utility, the changelog and
both maintainer-supplied Light/Dark README previews. Those screenshots still
show the old Reboot button; their caption explains the difference.
Download and installation
Download Naufal-Windows-Utility-Setup-8.0.0.0-x64.exe and SHA256SUMS.txt.
The Source code archives are development sources, not installers.
The installer is unsigned. Verify the source and SHA-256; do not disable
Windows protection just to launch it. Windows 10/11 x64 are intended targets;
not every Windows edition, build or hardware configuration has been validated.
Back up important data and read each tweak's warning before applying changes.
Default installation folder:
C:\Program Files\Naufal Tech's Limited\Naufal Windows Utility.
If an older installation remains registered in the Powertoys folder, close
the application and uninstall that version through Windows Settings before
installing this build. Setup does not automatically relocate/delete it.
Keep restore backups. The existing per-user data folder
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Naufal Windows Powertoys and upgrade identity are retained.
Verification
- Debug build: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
- 4,392 functional regression assertions, including fake restart callbacks.
- 285 English-only UI/resource/navigation assertions.
- 151 static identity, installer-location, publish and routing assertions.
- Native AOT WinUI test host: 19,876 assertions, 128 layout cases and eight
flyouts; Light/Dark previews inspected. - Native AOT application and Inno Setup installer built successfully.
- README images match the supplied source files by SHA-256.
No actual reboot, Windows tweak application, or installer execution was
performed for these checks. They are not a claim of complete OS/hardware
compatibility.
Release identity
The release uses tag v8.0.0.0-build.20260927. The existing v8.0.0.0 tag
points to the historical initial commit and has deliberately not been moved.
Application and installer versions remain 8.0.0.0.
