Requirements: macOS 13+ on Apple Silicon.

Install

  1. Download KeepAnything-0.1.0-arm64.zip, unzip, and drag KeepAnything.app into /Applications.
  2. This build is not notarized, so macOS will say the app is "damaged". Clear the quarantine flag once in Terminal, then open it normally:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/KeepAnything.app

What's inside

  • Drop files, folders, screenshots, PDFs, links and text into the shelf, the menu bar, or with ⌘⇧K. Originals are preserved.
  • Each item gets a title, summary and kind; related items form semantic collections.
  • Search (full text + embeddings) runs on device. Ask My Stuff (⌘K) answers with the items it was built from.
  • Every agent action is undoable.

Bring your own GMI Cloud or OpenRouter API key in Settings to enable the AI features.
