Multi-platform support: macOS 26, iOS 17, visionOS 2, tvOS 17 (all arm64).

Highlights

  • Consumes the new multi-platform Alembic.xcframework 1.8.11-multiplatform, shipping arm64 slices for macOS, iOS (+ simulator), visionOS (+ simulator), and tvOS (+ simulator).
  • Imath ABI is now uniform across every slice (3.1.12), matching the local CAlembic include tree.
  • New Examples/AlembicApp — a SwiftUI + RealityKit demo that writes a 600-particle, 90-frame point cloud via SwiftAlembic and animates the read-back samples. Builds for macOS, iOS, and visionOS.

Breaking

  • macOS minimum is now macOS 26 (was 13). Consumers on older OSes should pin to 1.0.0.
