Smart Power v0.9.1
WebUI
- Command-line output (
powerctl, ctl.sh, doctor, logs, installer) is English. - Bilingual English / 简体中文 interface with an in-page switch; defaults to the phone's language and remembers your choice.
Modes & orchestration
- One-tap Daily / Gaming / Ultra-saver modes that switch uperf, dfps, GPU cap and CPU caps together.
- Ultra-saver keeps the screen at a stable 60 Hz (touch no longer ramps the refresh rate), GPU 610 MHz, uperf
powersave. - Thermal guard: scales CPU/GPU caps down when battery ≥ 41 ℃ or CPU ≥ 62 ℃, with hysteresis.
Game profiles
- Event-driven foreground detection (logcat events), applies a game's profile within ~1 s.
- Switches the uperf global mode during games (uperf only honours per-app rules in
auto), restores it afterwards and respects manual changes. - Locks the refresh rate to an integer multiple of the in-game frame rate (e.g. 45 fps → 90 Hz) to remove judder.
- 5-second exit grace period: pulling down the notification shade does not flip profiles back and forth.
Crash-safe undervolt manager (experimental)
- Takes over the third-party Dimensity 8000/9000 undervolt module (
cpuhvfs.ko): off / guard / managed. - Load probe (no voltage change) that cross-checks the driver's voltage table against the vendor table.
- Hard limit, pre-flight checks, staged ramp, observation window, crash circuit breaker at next boot.
- Temporary → verified → permanent workflow, live readback of the real offset from the firmware table.
Charging (all off by default)
- Charge current cap, charge limit with hysteresis, gaming bypass. Only undoes changes Smart Power made itself.
WebUI & tooling
- KernelSU-style WebUI (KernelSU / APatch built-in, MMRL or KsuWebUI on Magisk): overview, games, monitor charts, performance, charging, tools.
- Read-only doctor: kernel module vermagic, SoC mismatch, voltage writers, controller conflicts, crash forensics.
- Hot install: first install and updates take effect without a reboot.
- Lightweight daemon: ≈ 1.4 % of one core with the screen on, ≈ 2.6 % while gaming (measured).
