[Solved] Applications not visible in the menu

Hello everyone, or as Fabio said, "Hello world!" I'm a veteran Linux user, so much so that I had the pleasure of installing my first Sabayon using only Gentoo Portage by Fabio Erculiani. I installed several applications with Luet: Kdenlive, which I see in the menu, but not GIMP and LibreOffice. All this despite rebooting the system. Overall, I was positively impressed; the system is very fast and responsive, and I installed the NVIDIA drivers without any problems. I would have liked to have found mullvadvpn compiled, which I have a subscription for. It's possible to install it on Gentoo. Good luck and have a great Sunday. Hi, I'm not very familiar with English, and I didn't quite understand the last part. On Gentoo, mullvadvpn is inside GURU.

Is it possible to request this package from the community? Can you tell me how to do so?

If the concept of atom was the problem, read here.
I see that basically net-vpn/mullvadvpn-app is the one to be emerged. So I will add that to the community repo.

As for the menu issue, that is not happening here.
So, let's try in the command line to refresh the menus by issuing at leas one of the following:

xdg-desktop-menu forceupdate
update-mime-database /usr/share/mime/

Yes everything is ok, once installed I started the service.
systemctl enable mullvad-daemon
systemctl start mullvad-daemon
