Fixed

Media keys on every keyboard. On a German keyboard (QWERTZ), asking her to pause or skip a song typed "³" or "°" into the window that was open. She now presses the real media keys, whatever your keyboard layout.

She can be clicked again. Sometimes she stopped reacting to the mouse until she was restarted. When the pointer is on her and she doesn't react, she now notices within a couple of seconds and becomes clickable again.

From this version, Capri is under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0: free to use, change and share, never for sale. Versions up to 0.4.3 stay under the MIT License.

Les touches multimédia sur tous les claviers. Sur un clavier allemand (QWERTZ), lui demander de mettre en pause ou de passer une chanson tapait « ³ » ou « ° » dans la fenêtre ouverte. Elle appuie maintenant sur les vraies touches multimédia, quelle que soit la disposition de ton clavier.

"Open YouTube" opens YouTube. She took YouTube for an app, found none on your PC and said so. She now knows the usual sites (YouTube, Google, Gmail, Twitch, Netflix, Reddit, X, Instagram, TikTok, GitHub, ChatGPT, WhatsApp…): ask for one by name, or with your browser ("open youtube on chrome"), and it opens right away in your browser.

A black screen behind her. On some PCs her see-through window shows up black (often NVIDIA cards with FXAA, MFAA or HDR on; other overlay apps like Desktop Mate do it too there). Right-click her, or her icon by the clock › Display › OpenGL: she restarts drawn another way. Still black? Without the graphics card, which costs a bit more CPU. Turning off FXAA and MFAA in the NVIDIA Control Panel can fix it as well.

Capri 0.4.1

Fixed

She stays in front of the taskbar. Sitting on it, a click on the taskbar brought it up over her and her legs vanished behind it. She now goes back on top right away.

Gemini works again. Older Gemini models are closed to new keys ("no longer available to new users"). Her menu now only shows the models you can chat with, a current Flash first, and if a model is gone she moves on to the next one by herself.

When the AI is swamped. On "high demand" errors she waits a moment and tries again, then tries another model. If nothing works, she tells you in a sentence instead of showing the server's raw error.

She stays Capri. Asked "who are you?", some models answered with their own name ("I'm Gemini"). Now she's Capri, and she never names the model behind her.

Corrigé

Elle reste devant la barre des tâches. Assise dessus, un clic sur la barre des tâches la faisait passer devant elle et ses jambes disparaissaient derrière. Maintenant elle repasse devant tout de suite.

Gemini remarche. Les anciens modèles Gemini sont fermés aux nouvelles clés (« no longer available to new users »). Son menu ne montre plus que les modèles avec lesquels on peut discuter, un Flash récent en premier, et si un modèle n'existe plus, elle passe au suivant toute seule.

Quand l'IA est saturée. Sur les erreurs « high demand », elle attend un instant et réessaie, puis essaie un autre modèle. Si rien ne marche, elle te le dit en une phrase au lieu d'afficher l'erreur brute du serveur.

Elle reste Capri. Quand on lui demandait « qui es-tu ? », certains modèles répondaient avec leur propre nom (« je suis Gemini »). Maintenant elle est Capri, et elle ne cite jamais le modèle derrière elle.

Codex and Antigravity, not just Claude Code. Right-click her › Watch › Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity: she follows the one you use, the same way. Or pick Nothing, just keep me company.

Talk to her with the AI you want. Besides Ollama on your PC: LM Studio, llama.cpp, Pollinations (online, no account), OpenRouter, OpenAI, Groq, Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral, your own server, or Claude Code itself. Your keys stay on your PC, encrypted. She also remembers your chats from one launch to the next.

Set up with buttons, no terminal. Right-click her › AI model › Set it up with her…: she installs Ollama and fetches a model for you (with a progress bar), or goes online with no account, or takes a key you paste in her panel, with a button to the page where you get one. No Claude subscription? Her welcome offers Free with Ollama: Claude Code or Codex in a window of its own, on a free model.

She opens your apps, games, music and websites. Ask her in the chat: "open Steam", "launch Brawlhalla", "put Daft Punk on Spotify", "next song", "louder", "open youtube.com". An app or a game you name opens right away (Start menu, Steam, Epic Games), music goes through Spotify and the media keys, and a website always waits for your click on a button that shows where it goes.

Make her yours. Right-click her › Make her yours…: what she calls you, how you want her to be (in your words), lines of yours she says now and then, and things to remember. In the chat, "call me Léa" or "remember that my cat is called Neko" work too.

Fixed

• Her chat brought everything back to the satellite and to Claude, and small models slipped into English in the middle of French answers.
• Small models fired off actions nobody asked for: a film tip could pause your music. Now an action only happens when your message asks for it.
• On a very small model (1B and under), she now says it may talk nonsense and offers a better one, with a button.
• Sitting on the taskbar, Windows took her for a fullscreen app: animated wallpapers froze and notifications waited.
• After the PC slept, she could vanish or stop responding to clicks.

Heads up: I haven't tested everything in this version on a real PC yet (installing Ollama from her panel, the free Claude Code/Codex window, clicks after sleep). If something acts weird, open an issue and I'll fix it.

Demande-lui dans le chat : « ouvre Steam », « lance Brawlhalla », « mets Daft Punk sur Spotify », « la suivante », « plus fort », « ouvre youtube.com ». Une appli ou un jeu que tu nommes s'ouvre tout de suite (menu Démarrer, Steam, Epic Games), la musique passe par Spotify et les touches multimédia, et un site attend toujours ton clic sur un bouton qui montre où il mène.

La personnaliser. Clic droit sur elle › La personnaliser… : comment elle t'appelle, comment tu veux qu'elle soit (avec tes mots), des phrases à toi qu'elle dit de temps en temps, et des choses à retenir. Dans le chat, « appelle-moi Léa » ou « souviens-toi que mon chat s'appelle Neko » marchent aussi.

Corrigé

• Son chat ramenait tout au satellite et à Claude, et les petits modèles glissaient de l'anglais en plein milieu des réponses en français.
• Les petits modèles déclenchaient des actions que personne n'avait demandées : un conseil de film pouvait mettre ta musique en pause. Maintenant, une action n'a lieu que si ton message la demande.
• Avec un tout petit modèle (1B et moins), elle prévient qu'elle risque de dire n'importe quoi et propose un meilleur modèle, avec un bouton.
• Assise sur la barre des tâches, Windows la prenait pour une appli en plein écran : les fonds d'écran animés se figeaient et les notifications attendaient.
• Après une mise en veille, elle pouvait disparaître ou ne plus répondre aux clics.

À savoir : je n'ai pas encore tout testé dans cette version sur un vrai PC (l'installation d'Ollama depuis son panneau, la fenêtre Claude Code/Codex gratuite, les clics après la veille). Si quelque chose bug, ouvre une issue et je corrige.

A livelier intro. Her wave goes through three hand poses now (tilted left, straight up, tilted right), her arm actually leaves the edge of the screen and comes back, and she ends with her eyes shut with joy.

She can sit on your taskbar. Right-click her › When she rests › Sitting on the taskbar: when nothing's going on she goes and sits on top of it, legs hanging over it, and falls asleep there. The taskbar stays clickable under her legs.

A mode without Claude Code. Don't use Claude Code? Right-click her › untick Watch Claude Code: she stops talking about it (no "plug me in" welcome, no hooks in her menu) and just keeps you company.

If she barely moved for you. With Windows' animation effects turned off, she was following it: she barely moved and her intro only faded in and out. Right-click her › Animations › Full makes her move anyway, and the first time she asks you.

The demo speaks your language (her menu › Play demo).

Fixed

• Sitting on the taskbar, her legs were cut off at its top when she started.

Une intro plus vivante. Son coucou passe maintenant par trois positions de main (penchée à gauche, droite, penchée à droite), son bras quitte vraiment le bord de l'écran et y revient, et elle finit avec les yeux fermés de joie.

Elle peut s'asseoir sur ta barre des tâches. Clic droit sur elle › Quand elle se repose › Assise sur la barre des tâches : quand il ne se passe rien, elle va s'asseoir dessus, les jambes qui pendent devant, et s'y endort. La barre reste cliquable sous ses jambes.

Un mode sans Claude Code. Tu n'utilises pas Claude Code ? Clic droit sur elle › décoche Surveiller Claude Code : elle n'en parle plus (pas d'accueil pour la brancher, pas de hooks dans son menu) et te tient juste compagnie.

Si elle bougeait à peine chez toi. Avec les effets d'animation de Windows coupés, elle suivait ce réglage : elle bougeait à peine et son intro apparaissait juste en fondu. Clic droit sur elle › Animations › Toutes la fait bouger quand même, et la première fois elle te pose la question.

La démo parle ta langue (son menu › Lancer la démo).

Better

Her intro is smoother. Her moves (her arms reaching in, the camera creeping in, her breathing, the drop when she lets go, the dive) now follow the screen's own refresh rate, so they don't stutter on 60 Hz screens anymore. Her drawings still change like an anime, on whole frames.

No more hitch on "hi" and on the wave. Her drawings are loaded before the intro starts, not the first time each one shows up.

Cleaner edges. The thin red line left around her black and white shapes (from the red background she was cut out of) is gone, and her pictures are sharper.

Mieux

Son intro est plus fluide. Ses mouvements (ses bras qui se tendent, la caméra qui avance, sa respiration, la chute quand elle lâche, le plongeon) suivent maintenant la fréquence de ton écran : plus de saccades sur un écran 60 Hz. Ses dessins changent toujours comme dans un anime, image par image.

Plus d'accroc sur le « hi » et le coucou. Ses dessins sont chargés avant le début de l'intro, et plus la première fois qu'ils apparaissent.

Des bords plus propres. Le fin trait rouge autour de ses formes noires et blanches (un reste du fond rouge dont elle a été découpée) a disparu, et ses images sont plus nettes.

New

A new intro. She grabs your screen: her hands slam onto its edges, her arms reach in, her face hits the glass. She says hi, waves at you with her clawed hand, then lets go and dives down to her spot.

Talk to her. Right-click her › Talk to her (or click her when nothing's going on). She answers in character through an AI model running on your PC with Ollama: nothing goes online, no account needed. She knows what Claude is working on. The chat says plainly that her replies are AI-generated.
To set it up: install Ollama and open it, then in a terminal run ollama pull llama3.2 (or gemma3:4b, a bit better). Pick the model in her menu › AI model (Ollama).

She can close an app for you. In the chat, ask her ("close Discord") and she shows a button with the app's name. Nothing closes until you click it. If the app only hides in the tray, she offers to force it, again only on your click. She never touches Windows' own pieces, Claude, Ollama or herself.

Mission report. Right-click her › Mission report: what Claude got through today (tasks, actions, files changed, errors, longest mission) on one card. Copy image puts it on your clipboard so you can share it. In the evening, after a real day's work, she brings it to you once on her own.

When Claude takes a while. If Claude goes quiet mid-task (a big question, or a slow local model), her ticker turns violet and counts the seconds, and she keeps herself busy. After two minutes she tells you nothing's stuck.

All of it in French, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.

Une nouvelle intro. Elle attrape ton écran : ses mains s'abattent sur les bords, ses bras s'allongent vers le centre, son visage percute la vitre. Elle te dit hi, te fait coucou avec sa main griffue, puis lâche et plonge jusqu'à sa place.

Lui parler. Clic droit sur elle › Lui parler (ou clique sur elle quand il ne se passe rien). Elle te répond dans son personnage grâce à un modèle d'IA qui tourne sur ton PC avec Ollama : rien ne part sur internet, pas de compte. Elle sait ce que fait Claude. Le chat dit clairement que ses réponses sont générées par une IA.
Pour l'installer : installe Ollama et ouvre-le, puis dans un terminal lance ollama pull llama3.2 (ou gemma3:4b, un peu meilleur). Choisis le modèle dans son menu › Modèle IA (Ollama).

Elle peut fermer une appli pour toi. Dans le chat, demande-lui (« ferme Discord ») et elle te propose un bouton au nom de l'appli. Rien ne se ferme tant que tu ne cliques pas. Si l'appli se cache seulement dans la zone de notification, elle te propose de forcer la fermeture, là encore seulement sur ton clic. Elle ne touche jamais aux morceaux de Windows, à Claude, à Ollama ni à elle-même.

Rapport de mission. Clic droit sur elle › Rapport de mission : ce que Claude a fait aujourd'hui (tâches, actions, fichiers modifiés, erreurs, plus longue mission) sur une carte. Copier l'image la met dans ton presse-papiers pour la partager. Le soir, après une vraie journée, elle te l'apporte d'elle-même, une fois.

Quand Claude met du temps. Si Claude se tait en pleine tâche (une grosse question, ou un modèle local lent), son ticker passe en violet et compte les secondes, et elle s'occupe. Au bout de deux minutes, elle te prévient que rien n'est bloqué.

Tout ça en français, anglais, espagnol, portugais du Brésil et russe.

Her intro. When she starts, her face shows up big in the top right corner of your screen, frame by frame from the show: her pieces spiral in, she's a red line that opens on her like a shutter, she says hi, then she dives down to her spot and her body unfolds from her face.

Plug her into Claude Code in one click. The first time she starts, she offers to hook herself up to Claude Code. One click, then start a new Claude Code session.

She shows you around. Right-click her › How does it work?: she goes to things and points at them with her finger, like in the show: her tray icon, Claude's window, Claude's folder (she opens it in Explorer). And when Claude asks for a permission while you're on another window, she points at Claude's window.

Her faces. Eight expressions taken from frames of the show. Her portrait in the panel changes with what she says.

Her menu on right-click, and she now speaks French, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian (she picks your system's language, you can change it in her menu).

Her faces and close-ups come from a sharper copy of the show's footage.

La brancher à Claude Code en un clic. La première fois qu'elle démarre, elle te propose de se brancher à Claude Code. Un clic, puis lance une nouvelle session de Claude Code.

Clic droit sur elle › Comment ça marche ? : elle va aux choses et les montre du doigt, comme dans la série : son icône, la fenêtre de Claude, le dossier de Claude (elle l'ouvre dans l'Explorateur). Capri 0.1.1

Claude's answer, even when you're not looking. When Claude answers and you're on another window, Capri shows you the whole answer in a wider panel that scrolls (paragraphs, lists and code kept). It goes away when you're back on Claude's window, or when you click it. Claude's window is the one you typed your prompt in. Works with Claude Code in a terminal, VS Code or the Claude app's Code tab.

The hook now keeps up to 6,000 characters of Claude's last message for this. It still only goes to 127.0.0.1.

If you installed the Claude Code hooks with 0.1.0, nothing to redo: the new hook is in place as soon as 0.1.1 is installed. Start a new Claude Code session.

Install (Windows)

1. Download Capri-Setup-0.1.1.exe below and run it (it updates 0.1.0 if you have it).
2. The installer isn't signed: if Windows SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
3. First time? Click Capri's tray icon › Install Claude Code hooks, then restart your Claude Code sessions.

La réponse de Claude, même quand tu ne regardes pas. Quand Claude te répond et que tu es sur une autre fenêtre, Capri t'affiche sa réponse en entier dans un panneau plus large qui défile (paragraphes, listes et code gardés). Il s'en va quand tu reviens sur la fenêtre de Claude, ou quand tu cliques dessus.

Pour installer : télécharge Capri-Setup-0.1.1.exe ci-dessous et lance-le (il met à jour la 0.1.0). Si SmartScreen bloque : Informations complémentaires › Exécuter quand même.
