This seems to be changing things for the sake of changing things as I see no improvement over the old layout. Additionally:

  1. Placing everything into their own little blocks makes the UI look more cluttered and messy
  2. It does not elegantly handle large numbers of takes (see image 2 below)
  3. It takes the version string, upload date, and number of downloads and squeezes them into one small line when previously they would each have their own section
  4. Most of what's inside the "Developer information" section is not project specific and could instead be moved to a separate page or replaced with a link to the documentation
  5. The hamburger menu button does not follow Modrinth's usual theme (bordered whilst other buttons are borderless)
  6. The hamburger menu is pointless as it only holds one button (Report)
  7. The version ID is buried when it used to be a lot more accessible in the Details section
  8. The files list is absentImage

Describe the solution you'd like

What I recommend:

  1. Move everything from the "Compatibility" section into the "Tags" section in the sidebar on the right as these are tags and that section is going largely unused.
  2. Take the version string, upload date, and downloads and put them where the compatibility tags currently are
  3. Remove the "Developer information" section and add the Id to the "details" section along with a link to the docs for configuring the modrinth maven.
  4. Add a section at the bottom listing the main (and additional) files with download links, and listing dependencies underneath that.
  5. Replace the hamburger button with the report button (or combine it with the edit button into a single dropdown menu).
  6. Move the section header for "Changes" into the changes section so it is not weirdly floating in a void.
