The lockfile-only Dependabot update for js-yaml 5.2.0 still resolves the affected transitive entry to js-yaml@3.15.0; the former 3.14.2 consumers (@istanbuljs/load-nyc-config, @yarnpkg/parsers, cosmiconfig@5, front-matter, and read-yaml-file) now install this 3.x package, and there is no js-yaml@5.2.0 entry in the lockfile. In installs that include those tools, the security bump remains unapplied because they stay below the fixed 4.2.0/5.2.0 line; add an override or update the parent packages so they resolve to the fixed major.
