Livewire Datatables v2.0.0

We’re excited to announce Livewire Datatables v2.0.0 — a major release focused on smarter filtering and an even better developer and end‑user experience.

Highlights:

  • Support for id's of type in and UUID (string)
  • Attribute‑aware filtering and sorting (automatic PHP fallback for Eloquent attributes)
  • Relationship‑friendly filters and sorting via dot notation (field('relation.column'))
  • Clean URL state for filters, search, sort, direction, and per‑page
  • Improved UX: filter labels, active filters ribbon, and optional popup filter style

Breaking changes:

  • Column::relationship() is deprecated — use field('relation.column') and sortField('table.column') when needed
