Update to php 5.5.9

I have a hosting which is going to upgrade their servers soon.
PHP is getting 5.5.9 and I would like to know if this works with Evo.

This is no longer a problem. MODX 1.0.15 (Evo) works with PHP 5.5 and even 5.6 without any hacks. This was only a problem with some older versions of Evo. I just tested running MODX 1.0.15 frontend and backend on PHP 5.5.22 and 5.6.6 and I didn't get any errors or warnings.

No, you don't even need to change database_type in config.inc.php to "mysqli". It will still work with "mysql". I did not change it and worked perfectly. Although the mysql extension/module in PHP is "deprecated" it is still working even in PHP 5.6 and using mysqli instead would be the suggested thing to do.

I don't know how well the mysqli support of MODX has been tested yet, but if it works without problems then by all means use mysqli for a more modern MySQL API.

Exept extras without dbapi and with mysql_ in code
