The first release of OpenTable — a clean, fast SQL editor for the desktop.
PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite, locally or through an SSH tunnel.

Which file do I want?

Your machine Download
Mac, Apple Silicon (M1–M4) OpenTable-1.0.0-arm64.dmg
Mac, Intel OpenTable-1.0.0-x64.dmg
Windows OpenTable-Setup-1.0.0.exe
Linux OpenTable-1.0.0.AppImage or opentable_1.0.0_amd64.deb

The macOS builds are signed and notarised by Apple, so they open without
warnings. Updates install themselves from here on.

What's in it

Connect — PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQLite. SSH tunnels through
ssh-agent, a private key or a password, with your ~/.ssh/config hosts
offered in a dropdown. Paste a postgres:// or mysql:// URL and the form
fills itself. Passwords are stored in the OS keychain, never in plain text.

Query — schema-aware autocomplete from your actual tables and columns.
Run the selection or just the statement under the cursor with ⌘⏎. Cancel a
running query, so a runaway SELECT never locks up the connection. Query
history, saved queries, and a ⌘K palette over all of it.

Read — a virtualised grid that stays smooth on large results, with
sorting, filtering, and export to CSV, JSON, SQL or Markdown.

Edit — double-click a cell to change it. Every edit applies in one
transaction using bound parameters, and only when the result maps cleanly to
a single table with a primary key.

Design — build tables visually with live SQL, and alter existing ones:
add, rename, retype and drop columns, change the primary key, manage indexes
and foreign keys. Every change is shown as exact SQL before it runs.

AI (optional, bring your own Anthropic key) — ask in plain English,
explain a query, or fix one that errored, grounded in your real schema.

Safety — confirmation before an UPDATE or DELETE with no WHERE,
and before any write on a connection you have marked as production.

Notes

Linux builds are x86-64. SQLite needs no server — just open a file.
